October  2021:  USAWA  project in collaboration with  Professor  Mark  Huxham  Edinburgh  Napier University, in Kwale County, Kenya.

September 2019 to February 2020: Forest monitoring and governance in Kwale Kenya.

2018 - 2019: A research on the evolution of forest policies in Kenya and their impacts on mangrove management.

2017:   Mangrove forest structure in state and co-managed mangrove forests, in Gazi Bay Kenya.

2014 – 2016: Ethnographic study of mangrove governance in Kwale, Kenya.
